Service Policy – Noel’s Landscape & Construction
Welcome to Noel’s Landscape & Construction. Please review our Service Policy, which outlines the key terms and conditions for all landscaping and construction projects we perform.
For complete details, refer to your custom quote and service agreement, which govern your specific project.
1. Scope of Services
We provide landscaping, hardscaping, construction, and maintenance services as outlined in your custom quote.
Any work not included in the approved quote requires a written change order and may result in additional charges.
2. Project Acceptance
By accepting our quote, you agree to the terms in this policy.
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Pricing may change if the project is delayed beyond this period.
3. Payments

A 50% deposit is required to schedule your project.

The remaining balance is due upon project completion.

Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card, ACH, Zelle, or check (adjust if needed).

Late payments over 7 days past invoice will incur a 5% monthly late fee or $75 flat fee, whichever is greater.
4. Changes & Additions
All changes must be submitted in writing and approved prior to work.
Changes may affect project price and timeline.
5. Permits & Approvals
Clients are responsible for securing all permits, HOA approvals, and necessary permissions.
We can assist by providing documentation, but we are not responsible for delays or denials caused by third-party agencies.
6. Site Access & Conditions
To ensure a smooth workflow, clients must:

Clear the work area of vehicles, debris, and obstacles before project start

Provide access to water, power, and utilities
-
Ensure pets and children are kept away from the job site for safety
We are not liable for project delays caused by inaccessible areas, unsafe conditions, or unknown underground obstructions.
7. Warranties
Workmanship Warranties

Hardscaping & Paver Work: 2-year workmanship warranty

Irrigation & Drainage: 1-year workmanship warranty

Artificial Turf Installation: 2-year workmanship warranty
(Adjust any warranty durations if needed based on Noel’s actual policy.)
Warranty Limitations
Warranties do not cover damage caused by:

Normal wear and tear
-
Severe weather or natural events
-
Improper maintenance
-
Soil movement, settling, or erosion

Tree root growth
-
Heavy equipment or vehicle traffic
-
Work performed by third parties
Manufacturer material warranties, if applicable, follow the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Property Damage
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or unforeseen underground utility disturbances unless caused by negligence on our part.
8. Cancellations

Within 48 hours of accepting the quote: Full refund minus a $250 administrative fee

Before scheduling crews or ordering materials: Cancellation fee based on project value

After scheduling crews or ordering materials: A portion of the deposit will be retained to cover costs already incurred

9. Project Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by:

Weather conditions

Supply shortages
-
Labor shortages
-
Permitting delays
-
Any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
We will communicate promptly and reschedule as needed.
10. Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify and hold Noel’s Landscape & Construction harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

Failure to obtain required approvals

Pre-existing site conditions
-
Client actions that interfere with the project
11. Photography & Media
We may capture photos or videos of the project for marketing and portfolio use unless you request otherwise in writing before the project begins.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation first.
If unresolved, disputes will be handled under Washington State laws and within the jurisdiction of the county where the work was performed, unless both parties agree otherwise.
